Travel size toothpaste and dental kits, wholesale

Folding toothbrushes, travel formats and complete dental kits, supplied wholesale by the company that makes them in Spain. The part of the category that sells where people are away from home.

Pierrot has been making oral care in Cantabria since 1945. The travel formats are ours, from the same factory as the rest of the range.

Pierrot travel size dental kits for wholesale

Travel formats are the smallest line in an oral care catalogue and the one with the most different buyers behind it. A travel retail buyer, a pharmacy chain, a transport operator and a supermarket travel aisle all want the same product for four different reasons, and they price it four different ways. This page is written for whichever of those you are.

Since 1945

Made by us, in Spain

Pierrot is the brand of Fushima S.L., in Guarnizo, Cantabria. Travel formats come out of the same production and the same quality system as the full-size range.

Low ticket, high rotation

The impulse end of the aisle

Travel formats are bought at the last minute, close to the till or close to the gate. They live on availability and facing, not on a promotion.

One supplier

Travel and full size together

The same order can carry the travel formats and the everyday range. One point of contact, one invoice, one set of documents for the registration file.

What the away-from-home range covers

Three blocks, and they are not interchangeable: the buyer who wants a single folding brush is not the buyer who wants a complete set.

Format What it is Where it sells
Folding toothbrush An individual toothbrush designed to close on itself and travel clean, for the situations away from home where a full-size brush will not go Impulse. Travel retail, petrol stations, pharmacy counter, vending
Dental kits Complete sets with a toothbrush and accessories, in several configurations depending on what the situation needs Travel aisle, pharmacy, gifting and back-to-school
Kids dental and travel kits Toothbrush, toothpaste and accessories in practical, safe formats made for children The kids block of the travel aisle, and school trips

The full catalogue, travel and full size together, is on the oral care products page, and the children’s block has its own page at kids oral care wholesale.

What actually decides a travel-format order

Buyers new to this part of the category tend to compare on unit price and then discover that the price was never the variable. Six things to settle before you order, from any supplier.

1. The fill size, in writing. “Travel size” is not a standard. Ask for the actual content of each reference rather than the description, because it is what decides your price per use and, on some routes, whether the product can travel at all.

2. The cabin rules of your channel. If you sell airside or to a transport operator, liquid limits decide the format before commercial terms do. Check the rule for your market against the real fill size, not against the word “travel”.

3. The case pack and the inner pack. Travel formats are sold in small units and shipped in large ones. Confirm both numbers before you build a margin, because the inner pack is what determines how the shelf is replenished.

4. Whether the product hangs, stands or sits in a basket. The travel aisle is mostly hooks and dump bins. A format that only stands upright loses its facing.

5. The registration, the same as any other reference. A travel format is not exempt: toothpaste is a regulated product in most markets whatever the size of the tube. Plan the file with your regulatory contact from the start.

6. Continuity through the season. Travel formats peak. Ask whether the reference is a permanent line or a seasonal one, because a gap in July is worse here than in any other part of the category.

Four buyers, one product

Naming which of these you are in your first message changes the whole conversation, because the format that wins in one of them is the wrong one in the others.

  1. Travel retail and transport Airports, stations, ferries and service areas. Bought under time pressure, so availability and a clear pack beat everything else.
  2. Pharmacy and supermarket travel aisle A permanent fixture, small and dense. Here the block is judged as a whole: a travel section with one reference does not read as a section.
  3. Hospitality and operators Hotels, airlines, catering and anyone who hands the product to someone else. A different buyer with different volumes and a different calendar. If this is you, say so in the form rather than asking for the retail catalogue: we will route it properly.
  4. Gifting, promotional and institutional Corporate gifts, events, schools and health campaigns. Volume arrives in one order and rarely repeats on a fixed cycle.

How it works with Pierrot

Four steps. The first one takes two minutes and tells you whether your market is open.

  1. Tell us your market and your channel Through the distributor form. In this part of the catalogue the channel matters more than usual: it decides the formats before anything else.
  2. We check the territory We look at whether there is already active Pierrot distribution in your country. We only take applications from markets where there is none.
  3. Formats and terms We send the references that fit your channel, with the formats and the commercial terms for your market. If your regulatory contact needs technical documentation for the registration file, ask for it here.
  4. First order and launch Most partners start with the travel block alongside a core selection of the everyday range, because the two sell to the same account.

If you are earlier in the process than this, the guide on how to become a distributor explains what a brand will ask you for and what you should ask back.

The rest of the wholesale range

Travel formats almost never travel alone. These are the categories they ship with.

  1. Toothpaste wholesale Six adult formulations, from sensitivity to whitening.
  2. Toothbrush wholesale Manual, electric, interdental, specialist and the eco-certified Green line.
  3. Mouthwash and dental floss wholesale The two categories that finish an oral care shelf.
  4. Kids oral care wholesale The children’s block, including its own travel kits.

The overview of everything we supply wholesale is on the oral care wholesale page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply travel size toothpaste and dental kits wholesale?

Yes. Pierrot is the brand of Fushima S.L., which makes oral care in Guarnizo, Cantabria, Spain. We supply distributors, wholesalers and retail chains directly, and the away-from-home block includes individual folding toothbrushes, complete dental kits with accessories, and children’s dental and travel kits.

What size is the toothpaste in the kits?

It depends on the reference, and it is the number to ask for in writing rather than to assume: “travel size” means different things in different catalogues. Tell us your channel and we will send the actual fill size of each reference along with the terms, so you can check it against the rules that apply where you sell.

Can I sell these airside or on board?

That depends on the liquid rules of your market and on the fill size of the specific reference, not on the format being called travel. Ask us for the fill sizes and check them against the rule that applies to you before you commit to an order. It is the first thing to settle in this channel and the one most often left until last.

Do you supply hotels, airlines and catering?

Hospitality and transport are a different conversation from retail: different volumes, different formats and a different calendar. If that is what you need, say so in the form instead of asking for the retail catalogue, and tell us your volumes and your calendar. We will come back with what fits rather than with a list that does not.

Can I order only the travel formats?

Most partners start with a selection rather than the whole catalogue. In practice the travel block works best alongside a core selection of the everyday range, because both sell into the same account, but tell us your channel and we will tell you what usually works in it.

Do the travel formats need registering with the health authority?

In most markets, yes, on the same terms as any other reference: the size of the tube does not change the regulatory status of a toothpaste. The distributor normally handles the local registration and we supply the technical documentation, formulations and certificates the file needs.

Are the kids travel kits the same product?

No, they are their own references, with formats made for children and a toothpaste from the children’s line. They sell in the same aisle but to a different shopper. The whole children’s block, kits included, is on the kids oral care wholesale page.

How do I get prices?

Through the form on the distributors page. Prices depend on the market, the channel and the selection, so a list on its own would tell you nothing useful. Tell us the country and the channel and we will come back with the catalogue and the terms that apply to you.

Want the travel range?

Tell us which market you work in and through which channel. We check the territory and send you the formats and the terms for your market.
